The much-awaited BMW G 310R that is set to launch coming July 18 has got a new colour scheme of racing Red. In addition to this, the German manufacturer is also offering an HP Motorsport paint scheme with “HP” lettering. Whereas the brand has discontinued the Strato Blue Metallic from the Indian lineup. The 2019 BMW G310 R range which will launch soon, could get the Cosmic Black option. Along with 2019 BMW G310R, its adventure sibling, BMW G 310 GS will also mark its presence in the market. The chances are the motorcycle will launch in India with the new colour options. Besides there new colour shades, no modifications are witnessed on the skin front.
Engineered by BMW Motorrad, the G 310R that is an entry level naked runner from the company and is being developed at the TVS Motors’ production facility. It has been so long since its debut at the Indian soil, however, the motorcycle did not launch in the country. The considered reason behind its launch delay is the brand’s plan of expanding dealership network before it hit the dealerships.
The BMW G 310R is powered by a 313cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that is able to generate the peak power of 34hp along with 28Nm of torque. The mated six-speed gearbox handles the transmission duties. Furthermore, the bike which is based on a tubular steel frame stands of five-spoke alloy wheels and gets ABS as standard.
