After making its first mesmerizing glance last year at the 2018 Thailand International Motor Expo, the tenth-generation Accord has officially been launched in Thailand. It exhibits a dramatic redesign with length measure of 4879 mm, width measure of 1859 mm, and height of 1450 mm along with with a wheelbase of 2829 mm. It comes with 19 inches, 5 spoke alloy wheels along with new powertrain options that include a turbocharged engine and an efficient hybrid system.
The new Honda Accord showcases a sportier, coupe-like look with the bolder 'Solid Wing Face' front grill, coupled with a sleek set of LED headlights, dark black window tints, chrome band moving cross-wise from one headlamp to another. It also sports a central air dam. The rear designs include an integrated spoiler with C shaped tail lamps.

Honda has prepared a refined & glistening interior for the D-segment sedan with a wraparound dashboard design, a new three-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters, new multi-info display and gauges, and a revised centre stack and console. 12-way adjustable driver seat with two position memory, 4-way power lumbar support, armrests, wireless phone charging, semi-digital instrument cluster and fresh upholstery on door panels, ambient lighting, and central tunnel not only convey comfort but leisure.
The combination of a bigger floating infotainment display with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto delivers luxury with entertainment to the fullest. An updated 450 watt 10 speakers Music system with subwoofer adds up to it.

Safety is taken care of with airbags, ABS, 360-degree camera, parking sensors at the front and rear, cross traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and Honda Smart Parking Assist System. Autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, and road departure mitigation further enhances its safety features.
Equipped with the 1.5-liter four-cylinder, New Honda Accord produces 190 PS along with a generous 243 Nm of torque. It is also available in the hybrid format, powered by a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine integrated with electric motors offers a total output of 215 hp and 315 Nm (same as Accord Hybrid in India).

In India, the 9th gen Honda Accord, launched in 2016, is on sale after its zero performance in sales last year. Accord Hybrid is price labelled at Rs 45 lakhs in India and is sold as CBU. After its entry in the ASEAN market, the next-gen sedan is all set to enter the Philippines market.
