Chevrolet has introduced the India-bound all new Beat hatchback for the first time in the image. The American automaker would be launching its new hatch as well as two other models, a cross hatch, the Beat Active, and a compact sedan, the Beat Essentia for the Indian market anytime soon. Both the cars were showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo.
From the image, the exterior of the upcoming Beat gets new changes over the current selling model. The front fascia of new Beat features dual port radiator grille which has become Chevrolet’s signature mark over the past few years. The upper or smaller part gets a single slat grille that holds the company’s badge at the center, while the lower section includes the air dam and vehicle number plate. Coming to the sides, the new Beat retains the C-pillar mounted hidden rear door handles.

Inside the cabin, the upcoming Beat would get a 7-inch infotainment display and a dual tone interior, while it will retain the same round shaped instrument cluster.
Mechanically, the new Beat is expected to run the same petrol and diesel engines that are powering the current generation Beat.
The next-gen Beat will be the part of 5 new launches from the General Motors for the Indian market in the next 48 months that will carry the Chevrolet badge.
Talking about the other two models, the Beat active will also hit the Indian market this year, some reports suggest, while there is no information about the launch of Beat Essentia in India. Once this compact sedan launched, it will take on the cars like Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Xcent and recently launched Volkswagen Ameo.
