The Japanese Automaker Isuzu, which is named after a holy Japanese river, has launched the MU-X SUV facelift variants. The 4x2 variant of the MU-X SUV comes with a price tag of Rs 26.27 lakh whereas the 4x4 variant has been priced slightly higher at Rs 28.23 lakh. The facelift models make their Indian debut more than a year later after their international debut.
The Changes
The Facelift models with reworked exterior as well as upgraded equipments and improved safety features. As far as the front fascia goes the bumper has been retweaked to add to the muscle appeal. New design elements also include projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights. On the rear, the tail-lamps get LED inserts. Also, the SUV now stands on larger, 18-inch alloys.

The cabin also gets a makeover with silver plastic cladded dashboard and other interior velvet-touch elements that accentuate the interiors premium appeal. The equipment list includes:

Power and Safety
The new SUV will be [powered by the same 3.0-litre, turbo-diesel engine churning out 177hp and 390 Nm of torque mated to a 5-speed automatic gearbox.
Key highlights are the updated safety features. The SUV will now offer six airbags as standard.
Further, electronic stability control, traction control, hill-descent control and ABS with EBD and emergency brake assist will make the SUV ideal for all road and traffic conditions.

Isuzu happens to be the world's largest truck manufacturer. And hence, in line with its maintenance policies, Isuzu is offering 5 years warranty and 5 years free periodic maintenance or 150,000 km (whichever is earlier) on the new trims.
