The German automaker Mercedes Benz has recently uncovered its latest E-Class Estate model that is soon going to be put up for sale in the international market. Much like the C-Class Estate, this one is also going to bear similar styling cues in the form of less angular and more flowing looks as compared to its previous version. From front, it resembles with E-Class saloon while the rear is slightly modified.
In terms of interior, the car is a carbon copy of the saloon version that comes with an optional dual screen instrument panel and an infotainment system sitting on the dashboard. The boot capacity stands at 670 litres which can be expanded to 1,820 litres. There is even an electric lever in the luggage area that can automatically fold down the rear seats backrests.

Further there is an electric cargo blind and Mercedes' Easy Pack tailgate with one-touch operation as standard facility. It is also equipped with an optional remote opening function offers access to a Keyless Go function. It makes use of a sensor that helps in opening the tailgate as and when you motion your foot beneath the centre of the rear bumper.
Discussing the mechanical configuration, the E-Class Estate will be rolled out in the global market with a 2 litre 2220d diesel motor under the hood that pumps out 194Hp along with another engine choice of 3 litre V6 350d that makes 258Hp. This lineup will be joined by a turbocharged V6 AMG 43 trim. Some of the prominent players that can prove to be a great threat to this model include Audi A6 Avant and BMW 5-Series.
