Auto Expo 2018 witnessed the AMT version of TATA Nexon. Unlike the AMT versions of Tiago and Tigor, Nexon will have AMT in both diesel and petrol variant.
The petrol variant of tata Nexon will be powered by 1.2-litre turbocharged engine churning out 108bhp and 170 Nm torque. While the diesel variant will have the all-new 1.5-litre engine producing 108bhp/260 Nm. Both engine variants will be coupled to a six-speed unit AMT.
The compact SUV will be draped in orange color. To make the driving experience on Indian roads smooth and easy, the AMT package will feature three driving modes as well as hill-hold function and creep function.
The new AMT Nexon may cost car lovers Rs 30,000 to Rs 50,000 more than the manual variant On Indian roads it will lock horns with the likes Honda WR-V and Ford EcoSport in petrol and Mahindra TUV300 in the diesel segment.
