The Audi A3 TDI Attraction has placed itself as the entry level trim from the German automaker in India. As per the fresh update, Audi has decided to discontinue the A3 Attraction variant due to the drop in the demand. However, the automaker will continue selling the higher variants in the market.
The Audi A3 TDI comes powered by a 1968cc, four-cylinder engine that produces 141bhp of power and 320Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 6-speed S tronic transmission. The A3 TDI Attraction was priced at Rs 24.56 lakh while the TDI Premium is available at Rs 29.20lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi). Now, the customers need to opt for higher variants instead of this variant.
Offered with a price difference of about Rs 3 lakh, the TDI Premium variant comes with additional features like automatic headlamps, automatic climate control, cruise control, and leather plus fabric combined upholstery. It also comes loaded with amazing safety features like ABS with EBS, 6-airbags, BA, ESP, hill anti skid control, traction control system, and child seat anchor points.
Perhaps, the base variants were seen underperforming, which could be one of the reason of their downfall in the demand. Moreover, the Premium trim is more expensive in comparison, but as an entry level sedan, this can be a good option to choose among the lineup.
