Today, Audi has launched the redesigned version of its Q3 in India at the starting price of INR 28.99 Lac. Coming to the changes, which have been applied cosmetically as well as additional features are also available, while the mechanical terms remain same as its predecessor. Design wise, it gets Audi's signature 3D effect single frame grille, latest LED headlight cluster and mildly tweaked daytime running lights at the front fascia. Other modifications stand in the form of a large panoramic sunroof, stunning rear bumper and 10 spoke 17 inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the Audi Q3 facelift receives a new multifunctional steering wheel, 3D aluminium inlays in the centre console, newly accented dashboard and door trims, upgraded MMI including navigation system, two SD card slots, 20 GB storage capacity for the hard drive and impressive instrument cluster. Machined with the same 2.0 litre four cylinder TDI diesel engine just like its outgoing variant, this runabout is capable of making an awesome power of 177 bhp at 4,200 rpm and a maximum torque of 380 Nm between 1,750 to 2,500 rpm.
The churned out power goes to the all wheels of Q3 facelift via a 7-speed S-tronic transmission, paired to the Audi's Quattro all wheel drive system. However, the base version, Q3s includes a 6-speed manual gearbox. Priced between INR 28.99 Lac to INR 37.50 Lac, the vehicle is enough to throw down the selling graph of the Mercedes GLA Class and BMW X1.
