India-base electric scooter manufacturer Avan Motors has recently launched two new electric scooters, named Xero and Xero+, in the country. The scooters have been priced at Rs 55,000 and Rs 85,000 respectively and will be sold through home delivery across India.
Xero and Xero+ are the first two products launched by the Pune-based company.
As for the design, both scooters are built in a conservative design that is expected to make it instantly popular among the Indian people. In terms of performance, Xero has been given the basic capabilities while Xero+ is able to offer a more advanced performance.
Avan Xero comes with a 250W electric motor that gets it power from a 48V lithium-ion battery and is able to produce a speed of 25kmph. The battery can last for up to 70 km and takes around six to eight hours to fully charge.
Xero+, as we said before, is slightly more advanced in terms of power. It has a 800W electric engine with dual lithium-ion batteries, which take around 6 to 8 hours to charge completely, and is capable of producing a speed of up to 45kmph. The battery of Xero+ can last for up to 110 kilometres.
Avan Motors is a Mumbai, India based electric automobile startup. The company plans to revolutionise the way people buy scooters in India. Since it doesn’t have any showrooms, as of now, it will provide home delivery for test rides, sale and servicing by accepting orders online.
