Bajaj Avenger 400 Rendered via Speculated Image

As per an announcement made by Bajaj Auto’s MD, Rajiv Bajaj during an interview earlier this year, that the company had plans of introducing a new product for all of its sub-brands. Including, CT, Platina, Discover, V, Avenger, Pulsar and the Bajaj Dominar by the end of this fiscal. Most of them have already been launched by the auto major and the remaining new product under the Dominar and the Avenger moniker are expected to come soon. If the surfaced reports are to be believed a new, more powerful product Bajaj Avenger 400 is scheduled to come. As expected, this bike will follow a scrambler design language and will be powered by motor borrowed from the Bajaj Dominar. Other than this, the bike could also get painted in a new paint scheme.

A speculated image that is giving an idea that how could this upcoming, most powerful Bajaj motorcycle look like, has already available on the internet. Though the bike will get the propelling power from the Dominar 400’s 373cc motor, the underpinned chassis will be an altered unit. Moreover, to keep things neat and compact at the rear, the curve design is appealing. With a go-fast intent bodywork, the bike is also furnished with red tape on the wheels along with an all-black theme. At the front, the bike has a headlight nacelle to deflect the oncoming wind.

Under the new most powerful Bajaj Avenger 400, the 373cc powertrain that does propel duties on the Bajaj Dominar will take care the powering of the bike. The mill is capable of churning out 35 PS at 8,000 rpm and 35 Nm at 6500 rpm. With the Bajaj Avenger 400, the output power figures could be considered altered as per the bike’s cruiser image or could remain as same as it is.

In terms of pricing, the brand’s most powerful cruiser is likely to be priced with an aggressive price sticker similar to all other products in Indian lineup. Also, the visibility of Street 150 and 220 examples on Indian roads in good numbers made us believe that this one will receive the similar response from the Indian audience.
