Bajaj Auto is all geared to bring forward a new Cocktail Wine Red shade option for its higher displacement cruiser, Avenger Cruise 220 in the Indian market. The surfaced image from the motoring website-GaadiWaadi.com also clarifies the arrival of this new color option in the coming future.
It's kinda part of the manufacturer’s strategy to boost the sales of higher displacement flagship products of the company, from the offered fresh color options to increase the list of options for the audience. During this phase, Bajaj recently added two new shades- Ebony Black paint and Desert Gold version in the earlier mentioned cruiser. The legendary Bajaj V15, commuter tourer also received same Cocktail Wine Red paint scheme and available at the dealerships.
Look wise, the leaked image does not convey any major alteration on the bike, except the standard windscreen was not available there. This new wine red shade has been applied on the cruiser’s front wheel fender, side panels, fuel tank and the rear section under the standard black seat upholstery.

At its heart, it’s carrying the same 220cc, single-cylinder, twin spark engine. The DTS-i technology supported engine is capable of producing 18.76 hp of power at 8,400 rpm and 17.5 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. All the generated power has been dispatched to the rear wheel via a 5-speed transmission. Featuring the excellent ergonomics and dimensions, Avenger Cruise 220 measures the length of 2,177mm, width of 806 mm and 1142mm of height and has a ground clearance of 169mm.
Launching dates for this fresh Cocktail Wine Red is not being unveiled yet by the giant. On pricing, Avenger Cruise 220 is likely to hold the same price tag of Rs 83,197 (ex-Mumbai).
