The Italian motorcycle maker, Benelli, has officially launched its much awaited naked motorcycle, TNT 25, in the Indian two wheeler market. The company has priced it at Rs 1.68 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi) for the Standard variant and Rs. 1.75 lakh for the Premium variant. It is the sixth motorcycle for the Indian line-up that will be sold in the country in two colors only- Red and White. In addition to TNT 25, however, the Indian portfolio comprises of Benelli TNT R, Benelli TNT 899, Benelli TNT 600i, Benelli TNT 600 GT and Benelli TNT 300.
The TNT 25 would be the first single-cylinder Benelli bike, powered by a four stroke, liquid-cooled 249.2cc motor, which outputs 28 BHP of power and 22NM of maximum torque mated to a six-speed gearbox. The bike gets upside down front telescopic suspension, while hydraulic monoshock absorber at the rear. The 17-inch aluminium alloy wheels acquire a 280mm disc brake at the front, whereas a 240mm disc brake at the rear. It also gets a muscular fuel-tank with 17 liters fuel capacity. Top claimed speed of the motorcycle stands at 145 km/h.
Elegantly designed Benelli TNT 25 has taken inspiration from its elder sibling- the TNT 300. It has got the vertically elongated headlamp, massive naked street outlook by a sculpted fuel tank, sturdy side slung exhaust, bared chassis, spilt-up seat and an instrument panel part analog, part digital. A wide range of accessories and 3 sets of decals as add-ons has also been offered by the bike maker. Moreover, exclusive high quality racing inspired Benelli helmets have also been launched.
