The much hyped fully faired motorcycle from legendary Italian marque, Benelli, the Tornado 302R is reported to launch next month in India.
As per the sources, the mid-June has been scheduled as the timeline for the official launch of Benelli’s first fairing motorcycle, though, the exact date is not revealed yet. The Introduction of Tornado 302R is in question since its public debut at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. Earlier, it was lined up to hit the Indian market in early 2017, but being BS-III compliant model, the launch has postponed until the product get compiled for BS-IV emission norms. Now it is all set to join their brothers in Indian lineup during next month.
The other notable reason behind its delay in launch is the Tornado 302R was not an anti-lock braking system (ABS) equipped motorcycle. And, as the DSK Motowheels understands the importance of safety on this kind of fastest beast. All the forthcoming Benelli models will be launched with necessary ABS component.
If pricing is being considered, the Tornado 302R, which is capable of churning out 36 bhp will be tagged with an aggressive price sticker to compete hard with its rivals in the segment such as the Yamaha YZF-R3 and the Kawasaki Ninja 300. The bookings for this 302cc in-line twin motorcycles have already been commenced at several Benelli outlets.
