Recently, BMW 1 Series facelift version has been launched at Indian shores retailed at INR 29.9 Lacs (ex-showroom). Unlike the existing lineup, this time it has arrived with just one variant named 118d Sportline. The automaker had already revealed the model at the Geneva Motor Show 2015 held in the month of March. It is adorned with a wide array of attractive and appealing elements including both exterior and interior portions.

Dimension wise, this luxury highlights a subtle expansion in its size as compared to the outgoing version. The new 1 Series possesses a length of 4,329 mm, width of 1,765 mm and height of 1,440 mm. The front and rear are slightly tweaked while the side profile remains same. These features include new Bi-Xenon headlights, re-sized grille, revised lower bumper, L-shaped tail lights and a pair of exhaust pipes.

As far as the interior is considered, it receives advanced and modern equipments like iDrive infotainment system accompanied by a 6.5-inch free standing display. Buttons and knobs are highlighted by chrome while some portions also flaunt silver accents. A single zone automatic climate control is offered as a standard feature whereas a dual zone unit comes as an optional facility.
Mechanically, it is available with just a diesel motor that is powered by a 2 litre, four-cylinder unit. It has the capacity to transmit 150 Hp and 320 Nm of maximum output to the rear wheels via an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox.
