The internationally famous German luxury car manufacturer BMW is in full swing these days and recently it has launched the 3 vehicle in its list of 2 series cars for the European and international market. The vehicle is called as BMW 2 series convertible and this has been introduced with a few tweaks and changes to the current model and the price tag of approximately INR 29 Lac. The expected launch of the car in Europe is sometime during the February 2015. However, the Indian launch is no where on the cards as the company hasn't launched the 2 series models in India yet.
The updated version of the car is bigger in length by 72 mm, wider by 26 mm and with the 30 mm larger wheelbase as well. The latest admiration of the car is its electronically removable roof top, which takes only 20 seconds to get off it, even at the speed of 48 km/h. There is also an extra option of the wind deflector which is very useful to counter the air turbulence. The car will be available with the 4 engine options, 2 in each petrol and diesel.
According to the BMW, the M235i engine variant is the first time introduction to the 2 series family as it belongs to the M class, but is available now with it to offer the sportiness to its customers. As far as the Indian launch is concerned, let's hope the company will be launching it soon.
