BMW 6 Series Facelift Unveiled at Ongoing NAIAS

The updated versions of BMW 6 Series, such as Gran Coupe, Convertible and M5 Coupe have been rendered at the ongoing 2015 Detroit Motor Show. Among these three models, BMW only sells 6 Series Gran Coupe and M5 Coupe in India, while their facelift variants are expected to arrive in the country in the first half of this year. All versions include minor changes with revised front as well as rear bumpers, LED multibeam headlights and redesigned kidney grille. They comprise four latest color variants and new stunning alloy wheels including 17, 18, 20 inch sizes, respectively.

Interiors have also been changed mildly alongside the splendid dual scheme leather upholstery, high quality of stuffs and superb heads-up display to bestow the best amenity for its occupants inside the cabin, while mechanically, refreshed models remain same as the outgoing ones. Spilling the beans about 6 Series Gran Coupe, which has already been sold out in India is powered by a 3.0 litre 6-cylinder diesel engine to churn out an awesome power of 313 bhp and the tremendous torque of 630 Nm.

Ahead of marking a limited top speed of 250 km/h, this runabout can be accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds. Now coming to the M6 Gran Coupe, it gets a 4.4 litre V8 twin turbo engine to produce a stupendous power of 560 bhp and incredible torque of 680 Nm.
