It's neither about competition, nor any market strategy. It's just a celebration for historic years of BMW. With hundred of units, BMW has revealed a limited edition 7 series luxury sedan on the occasion of 100th anniversary. The carmaker has named it BMW Individual 7 Series “The Next 100 Years”.
The anniversary edition cars have received an exclusive Centennial Blue Metallic paint finish at the exterior and sits on the 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels in a silver/ferric grey bi-color. The most unique thing is a handcrafted signet on the B-pillars.
Inside, the 7-series has been furnished with a special smoke white BMW individual fine grain Merino leather upholstery as well as quilted seat, hand-woven piping and contrasting seams. In addition, it comes with piano black theme, leather steering wheel with wood accents and floor mats made of Alcantara.
Along with these, every consumer will also have a special Montblanc fountain pen with this special edition that has a rhodium-plated Au750 gold Montblanc nib and has been decorated in Centennial Blue Metallic shades.
The specification of powerhouse that has been considered in this limited edition is a 450 Bhp 4.4-litre, 8 cylinder V configuration BMW 750Li, 612 Bhp 6.6-litre, V12 BMW M760 Li xDrive and the 326 Bhp 2.0-litre, four cylinder BMW 740Le iPerformance plug-in-hybrid.
