BMW has launched the petrol option for its X1 sDrive20i. The new variant will carry a price tag of Rs 37.50 lakh. In line with the current BS-VI standard, the new petrol-trim will carry the 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine tuned to deliver 192 hp power at 280 Nm of peak torque coupled to 7-speed dual-clutch AMT. Transmission duties are performed by BMW’s indigenous all-wheel-drive system, the xDrive.

Key features on the SUV include intelligent power-adjustable front seats, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, 18-inch alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering, a 6.5-inch display for the iDrive infotainment system.

The petrol-trim will join its other sDrive20i siblings in the X1 range. The new X1 sDrive20i shares its kit with sDrive20d. sDrive20d Expedition, the base variant of diesel sDrive20d trim comes at a price tag of Rs 34.40 and goes up to Rs 44.50 lakh for the AWD xDrive20d M Sport. Reportedly, the German Automaker has also recently added the Rs 41.50 lakh top-spec M Sport to the lineup.
On Indian Roads, the new petrol-trim will lock horns with the Rs 34.73 lakh Audi Q3 30 TFSI Premium and the Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 Sport which is retailed at Rs 34.38 lakh and
