BMW Motorrad brochure for the calendar year 2019 hinting towards the addition of a sports tourer motorcycle the F 850 RS in coming future. In brochure, the model was alongside BMW touring range as a choice for those willing to enter the segment. The current touring range of BMW consists of models such as the K 1600 GT, R 1250 RT and GTL.
Last year, BMW introduced a middleweight adventure tourer, the F 850 GS which packs an 853cc, twin-cylinder, water-cooled engine. It is being speculated that the German bike maker will use the similar power plant in other models too. The company has done this even before with its 1254cc mill is powering a range of models like the R 1250 R, R 1250 RS and the BMW R 1250 GS.
Moreover, the prospect behind explaining the F 850 GS model is the spied event of a 9Cento concept-based test mule in November last year. It is a sports tourer concept which was exhibited from BMW at the Villa d’Este in 2018.

Speculations around, the German bike maker could render the motorcycle in question at EICMA 2019 motorcycle show in Milan, Italy. It the product launches globally, there are high chances of it to hit the Indian market in the coming future.
