The standard F 750 GS and F 850 GS which were launched by the German automaker, BMW Motorrad in India at the 2018 Auto Expo in February this year, are not available till now at the Indian dealerships. And, the emergence details of the more road-focused 2019 F 850 GS Adventure doing runs around the corner. The pricing for the standard F 750 GS and F 850 GS are INR 12.2 lakh and Rs 13.7 lakh (ex-showroom, India), respectively.
As revealed from the spy set of images, the Adventure model will be furnished with a long list of prominent accessories to easily take on the motorcycle on any kind of terrain surface. However, what will be offered as standard fitment is not certain yet. Though, we could see the availability of fitments such as a taller windscreen with adjustment aids, auxiliary lights, crash bars, a bigger sump guard and aluminium-finish luggage panniers.
Similarly, rides on 21-inch front spoke wheel, the Adventure will use the same 853 cc parallel twin-cylinder engine with two counterbalance shafts and a firing interval of 270/450 degrees. The engine is rated to churn out the maximum power of 95 hp at 8250 rpm and the peak torque of 92Nm at 6,250 rpm.
Dimensionally, the F 850 GS Adventure measures 939mm in width and 1492mm in height. As compared to the standard bike, it is wider, taller and heavier as well by 15 kgs with fully laden weight up to 244kgs.
In the brand’s Indian lineup, The BMW F850 GS Adventure will supersede the F800GS Adventure. Globally, it is likely to debut in front of the audience at the events like EICMA or Intermot. For more updates, stay tuned with us. We will update you with all the new information when they’re available.
