World's fastest road-legal racing car Bugatti Veyron has finally come to the end of its life-cycle. The company has intimated that only 8 more Veyrons will be available to sell and after that the car will be a history that was once thought to be impossible. The production was started back in 2005 and 300 cars were sold before bringing a mild facelift of the car named as Grand Sport, of which 150 units were available for selling. The Bugatti Veyron created many records that are still needed to be broken as it reaches to 100 km/h mark from nil in just 2.46 seconds and completes the cycle of 0-100-0 in 5 seconds.
The car also has one of its kind 8.0 Litre 16-Cylinder engine that's placed in W-shape to produce the power output of the 987 bhp and 1250 Nm torque for the basic version and 1184 bhp and 1500 Nm of enormous torque for the Grand Sport version. The basic model was the first car to cross the 400 km/h mark with the top speed of 407 km/h, while the upgraded version has the top speed of 415 km/h.
Every single part of the car has been tweaked and optimize for the utmost performance and another example for that is brakes of the car which can stop Veyron from its top speed in just 10 seconds. With all these super features intact, this Bugatti Veyron has the costliest tag of around INR 14-16 Crore. The car was launched in India with the price tag of INR 30 Crore as it was brought by CBU route, but failed and the company had to withdraw the car from the India. Also, it's speculated that there is a new version of the Bugatti Veyron is on the road, named as Chiron and that will have the more power from its predecessor.
