Today, General Motors (GM), the American automaker company has showcased the Chevrolet Beat Activ concept at the ongoing Auto Expo 2016. Along with this, the company has also debuted Beat Essentia sedan, which will launch in 2017. Basically, the new Beat Activ concept displays a pseudo-crossover based on the next generation Beat hatchback that will be launched in India next year.
Coming to its exterior features, it's housed with Up front, the concept features LED lighting in the headlamps and fog lamps. Apart from all these, it also has Chevrolet's hallmark two-tier grille, black plastic cladding on the bumper and skid plate. Moreover, it includes a silver skid plate, roof rails and rugged-look elements.

Throwing light on its interior characteristics, Chevrolet Beat Activ features a two-tongue beige and brown color combination, 7-inch MyLink infotainment system, and a motorbike-inspired instrument cluster. It shows same dimensions that you have seen on the current Beat, having 3.64m long, 1.59m wide, 1.52m tall and a wheelbase spanning 2.37m.
It has also a same engine line-up that includes a 936cc three cylinder diesel engine offering outputs of 57.1 PS power and 142.5 NM torque. The Beat Activ will serve to the hatchback-crossover segment that will give a tough competition to the models from the Renault Kwid.
