Datsun Go Facelift Launch Assured With Spotted Test Run

Datsun is planning to launch an updated version of its popular Go hatchback variant with front and rear end revision in design language. The source of news is confirmed from a spied shot taken in Tamil Nadu recently.

The updated Datsun Go hatchback is due for launch in the upcoming month, therefore, the test runs are now frequent on the streets of India. The car will be having some minor facelift updates which are also assumed for the Datsun Go+ mini estate.

The facelift of Datsun Go hatchback is set to carry newly updated bumper on both rear and front with the alloy wheels on the top spec variant. While coming to the interiors, the cabin will house a touchscreen infotainment system with a slightly adjusted centre console.

While concerning the engine specifications, the Datsun Go hatchback will be using the older 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine. While the transmissions will be five-speed manual giving out 68bhp/104Nm.

It is also speculated that the update Datsun Go will be having a CVT option but it is not sure that it will get launched in India and will continue with the normal AMT version of the Redigo.

Currently, the Datsun Go comes in five colour option and retails at INR 3,38,206 ex-showroom. While there is also Go Remix edition of the hatchback with dual tone colours retailing at higher INR 4,26,000.
