Taking its hint from the Datsun Go, the Redi Go market will have an upgraded exterior and an upmarket interior. Higher-spect variants might get outside features like- rear wash/wipe, LED DRLs and alloy wheels while the interior will be refreshed and may get a new dashboard along with the touchscreen infotainment system.
The most important update is done in terms of safety. The present Redi Go car is not ready for the safety norms which will be applicable in April 2019. The present model has a single driver’s side airbag (only on selected higher-spec trims) and does not have ABS on any variant. The upgraded Redi Go facelift will have dual front airbags, ABS, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminders, a speed warning system, and even a reinforced body shell. The upgraded Redi Go will be on sale in 2019.
