Maruti Suzuki today has revealed a new compact SUV on the second day of the ongoing Delhi Auto Expo, which is going to be known as Ignis. The cool mini SUV is available with both front and all wheel drive, while only a 2WD version will be offered in India with styling and bold frame. The company has also set a mark to launch this car, which could take place by the end of this year, during the festive season to attract more consumers.
The Maruti Suzuki Ignis will come in India with a 1.3-litre multi-jet diesel engine, produces 74 bhp of power and 190 Nm of torque coupled with 5-speed transmission option. Apart from this, it could gets 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine, equipped with CVT automatic.

Inside the cabin, it will be attached to sporty bucket style seats, 7-inch infotainment system along with USB and Bluetooth connectivity, automatic climate control an all-black or black-white dual tone color scheme. Dimensionally, Maruti Suzuki Ignis has 3700 mm of length, 1595 mm of height, 1660 mm of width and 180 mm of road clearance.
After the success of Baleno and S-cross, Maruti Suzuki has released another new sibling for the Indian car market that would be sold from brand's recently established Nexa Dealership. Besides, Maruti has also unveiled concept Baleno RS at this same event, which is also expected to arrive in India in near future.
