The legendary Italian marque- Benelli has become the top performance bike seller within a year of starting its operation in Goa. it has recorded the sales of 151 units of its flagship lineup. On its own, it a record that any performance motorcycle brand has done this in an interval of one year.
To commemorate this accomplishment, Mr. Shirish Kulkarni, the Chairman of DSK Motowheels has handed over the keys of 151st DSK Benelli superbike to its proud owner, in the fellowship of ISL players from the FC Goa team.
More than this, an exceptionally built TNT 25 roadster painted in FC Goa livery has also been rendered by the Italian firm. Albeit, the motorcycle will carry the identical mechanicals of the standard ongoing.
Speaking about the achieved landmark, Kulkarni said, “When it comes to performance; power, agility, endurance and control are factors of vital importance, so there’s a lot that is similar between a professional football player and a best-in-breed superbike. The intense passion for football and biking that the people of Goa harbour is no secret, so we decided to celebrate our milestone of the fastest sale of 151 superbikes in the city, by blending both these passions. The unveiling of the TNT 25 wrapped in the Forca Goa livery has further added to the success of today’s event, showcasing our support to the FC Goa team.”
The entry level performance motorcycle in the Indian lineup, the Benelli TNT 25 has been customised to celebrate the occasion and being offered at the handy price tag of INR 1.78 lakh (ex-showroom, Goa).
Beneath the fuel tank, it is embellished with a 249cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC motor that is responsible for churning out 28.5PS of maximum power and a peak torque of 21.6Nm. All the produced power transmits to the rear wheel via the integrated 6-speed gearbox transmission. To offer mile eating performance, built on a steel trellis frame, the machine uses all the mounted components such as USD forks upfront and rear mono shock as suspension setup, disc brakes on both wheels, tubeless tyres and much more. If talked about the required safety asset for a performance oriented bike, the ABS system is not being offered in this bike, even as an optional too.
