Few days back, we had updated you with the World Ducati Week, 2014, a 3 day session of fun, riding and passion. The WDW, 2014 was held from 18th July to 20th July at the Misano World Circuit, located in Italy. Well, the company had its own plan of showcasing its new and upcoming models in the WDW, 2014. The most awaited Ducati Scrambler, carrying a retro-inspired look is also showcased during the session. Now, the unexpected vision which has been seen during the WDW, 2014 is the all new Ducati Hypermotard SP along with a new paint scheme. Yes, absolutely the same motorbike, who has been holding the crown of World Superbike Championship for three times and the 2011 WSBK king.
Ducati Hypermotard SP's new paint scheme was showcased by the World Champions Troy Bayliss and Carlos Checa at the WDW, 2014. The SP is featuring various riding modes with an engine displacement of 821.1cc. The engine is coupled with a 6-speed transmission box. The naked bike featuring a three-level ABS braking system along with eight-level traction control system. As, there is no fairing in the motorcycle, the bike weighs 171KG.
This naked beast has been built around the Borgo Panigale's signature tubular trellis frame. The suspensions are carefully loaded by Ohlins, to provide long ride comfort. The Tyres of the motorcycle have been sponsored by Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa. The Ducati Hypermotard SP is featuring many premium features carbon fiber fenders, engine cover guards, a radial brake pump and a 5-way adjustable lever.
The newly showcased motorcycle will be available from the month of September, 2014 along with its all new Ducati Corse-inspired livery. With all these new modifications, the price of the bike remains same, i.e. with no revised price. For Europeans, the company will be providing a restrictor kit with no additional cost over the standard model.
