The 2019 Ducati Diavel has been spotted performing testing runs on the road near the brand’s production unit in Italy. The image of the event has been posted online by a popular motoring forum, BikeSocial. From the image, it is clear that the bike will get cosmetic upgrades as it received revised bodywork. However, what will be the changes can’t say, as the motorcycle was wrapped up with camouflage covering. Still, the components which are visible from the eyes are the shared unit of the all-LED headlamp from the XDiavel along with the mainframe and distinctly crafted exhaust outlets. Altogether, the swingarm is also borrowed from the 1299 Panigale.
If the surfaced reports are to be believed, the powering for the 2019 Diavel will come from the 1262cc, Testastretta DVT engine that performs propelling duties on the XDiavel and Multistrada 1260. The mill in question is rated to produce the peak power of 154bhp along with 129 Nm torque on the XDiavel.
In terms of riding capabilities, the 2019 Diavel would not find any difference from the current model. As the motorcycle continues to carry forward the upright riding position that comes owing to the presence of aggressively-set foot pegs. Other than the higher position pillion seat and the wheels are the rented components from the ongoing model. The new generation Diavel is likely to be showcased at the 2018 EICMA in November. While its launch is expected to take place in the global market by early 2019. The Indian arrival is suspected anytime next year.
