The 'baby superbike' from Ducati entitled as Ducati 959 Panigale is ready to enter the outlets from next month in the country. Talking about the presence of the Italian marquee in the Indian sector, Ducati has unveiled some interesting machines at the India bike week such as the replacement of 899 Panigale and Multistrada 1200 Pikes Peak. Besides, the automaker has launched the one listed second just couple of days ago in the country's two-wheeler market as well.

"We will start selling the 959 next month and we have started taking bookings. We have received tremendous response in the market for this entry level sports bike. Ultimately our aim is to bring majority of the Ducati bikes that available in the global market to India,” said Ravi Avalur, Managing Director, Ducati.
It's not like the 959 Panigale hasn't changed much, but the visual appearance is more or less remained intact. The major modifications done onto the huskier beast is with the performance units. On the lead is the fresh and high-powered 955cc V-Twin engine, which is categorized as the first in the Superquadro engines genre from the company passing the Euro-4 emission standards. The vigorous power of 157BHP, which is 9BHP extra than what 899 Panigale generates, makes the bike more powerful.
Electronic stuff armed in the motorcycle include Ducati Quick Shift (DQS), Riding Mode Technology with Ride-by-Wire system, triple stage Bosch ABS, Ducati Traction Control System (DTC) and Engine Brake Control (EBC).
