Eicher-Polaris Pvt. Ltd. has launched India’s first Personal Utility Vehicle, the Multix in Odisha for the price of INR 3.43 Lakhs (Ex-showroom, Bhubaneswar). Specially designed for an independent businessman, it can be bought from the dealerships that are situated in Bhubaneswar, Sambalpur, Cuttack and Berhampur. Besides, it is available in two trim levels i.e. AX+ and MX and coming in four different color options as well.
Mechanically, the Multix is powered by a 510.7 cc single cylinder, Greaves four-stroke, Natural Aspirated diesel engine. As far as the performance is concerned, it is good for churning out 9.78 Bhp of power at 3,000 rpm along with a 27.1 Nm of torque between the range of 1,400 to 2,200 rpm. Moreover, the engine is packed with a 5-speed manual transmission box. The company claims that the unit will return a mileage of 27 kmpl that is also quite a good number.

Talking about the dimensions, the company has designed both the vehicles with a length of 3235 mm, a height of 1856 mm and a total width of 1585 mm as well as offers a wheelbase of 2005 mm. Apart from these, they also have a decent ride height of 225 mm and around 3930 mm of turning radius. Furthermore, these are quipped with an independent suspension system Pro Ride.
