EICMA 2014: Ducati 1299 Panigale on Board

The Italian two-wheeler maker is silently working to introduce a new Supersports motorcycle under the company's flagship series. Few days back, the Ducati has released some pictures by mistake, which have showcased the company's latest upcoming. Yes!! You are thinking right. Here, I'm talking about the most-rumored Ducati 1299 Panigale. The manufacturer was tight-lipped and hasn't revealed any information or teasers ahead of its official launch. Recently, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer has launched the all-new Ducati 1299 Panigale at the proceeding EICMA motorcycle event, Milan, Italy. The event will officially get started from 6th November, 2014.

The newly entered Ducati 1299 Panigale is a sudden surprise from the company, as no much rumors, no teasing have been done for the introduction of the firm's upcoming super sports flagship motorcycle. What makes this a flagship motorcycle is its re-tuned 1198cc engine, which now displaces 1285cc. So, the 2015 Ducati 1299 Panigale has received an increment of 100cc over the Ducati 1199 Panigale and so as the power. The 1285cc displacement engine is successfully pumping out a total power of 205 BHP @ 10,000 RPM and a peak torque of 144 NM @ 8750 RPM. The re-tuned engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission via a wet clutch and a titanium Akrapovic exhaust tail.

The 2015 Ducati 1299 Panigale is being lavished with various advanced electronic equipments such as Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), Engine Brake Control (EBC) and Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) system. In order to provide an enhanced riding quality, the 1299 Panigale has acquired Ducati's Realtime Suspension system, which is featured by Ohlins Smart EC Semi-active based suspension. The braking system is being catered by the Bosch cornering ABS along with disc brakes at the front and rear, both.

The 2015 Ducati 1299 Panigale will be coming three variants; 1299 Panigale, Panigale S and Panigale R. The newly introduced Panigale 1299 Superbike is be priced at £16,995, Panigale 1299 S will cost £20,795 and Panigale 1299 R carries a price tag of £28,995.
