Suzuki has come up with two of its new motor bikes in the running EICMA 2016 event in Italy. Both the bikes are basically evolved from Inazuma GW250 platform and are termed as V-Strom 250 and the GSX-R250R.
Coming to Suzuki GSX-R250R, the motorcycle is blessed with a sporty design language, by which it looks a bit like miniature of Suzuki GSX- R1000 superbike. The showcased model is blessed with an aerodynamic fairing, clip on handlebars and rear set footpegs, but still the company introduced it as a ‘commuter’ rather than a sportbike.
Bothe of the bikes, V-Strom 250 and GSX-R250R works on same platform as both of them gets strengthened chassis to improve load bearing and a top case mounted aluminium rack at rear side as well. According to the company, V-Strom 250 can provide a mileage of up to 32.5kmpl and the windscreen, wide handlebars and spacious seat will offer you a smooth riding experience.
The showcased bike variants gets power by a 248cc parallel-twin motor, which is capable of delivering a maximum power of 24.7 bhp and 23.4NM of maximum torque with the help of a six-speed transmission unit. Riding on telescopic front fork and a rear monoshock unit, both of the models also have an optional ABS.
The GSX-R250R can be seen heating up Indian roads soon but the V-strom 250 still have time to make its presence in the country.
