Erik Buell Racing 1190SX: Price and Details revealed

Erik Buell Racing (EBR), an American based two-wheeler maker, has also started working on the concept of naked version bike. After introducing two fully faired bikes, i.e. EBR 1190RX and EBR 1190RS, the company is preparing itself to introduce their naked version also. Few days back, the 1190SX has been disclosed by the company as its first naked version bike. The 1190SX is completely based upon company's previous model of 1190RX. These three models are the flagship models of the EBR. This upcoming SX bike is a speedster bike along with a whole new uncovered and stunning look. EBR got successful in gaining popularity among Indians; after the company had a tie-up with the India based Hero Motocorp.

Well, the search for a naked street fighter bike will end up here. EBR is representing a new sibling of 1190RX. The SX is completely based upon its sibling. There is a minor difference in the weight of both the bikes, the 1190RX weighs 190KG with its fairing and 1190SX weighs 188KG, i.e. a naked version.

The 1190SX is powered by the same engine as of 1190RX. The SX features a V-Twin, liquid-cooled, four-stroke engine, which gives an engine displacement of 1190cc. The engine is capable to churn out a peak horsepower of 185 HP @ 10,600 RPM and a maximum torque of 137.8 Nm @ 8,200 RPM.

The braking system of this bike is pretty impressive. 1190SX is featuring disc brakes with single and 8-piston inside-out caliper at the front and 2-piston at the rear. The front wheel of the bike featuring a huge disc, which is covering the wheel along with it. The emblem design of the EBR holds a frame, which acts as a fuel tank; it helps in better mass centralization and reduces the overall weight of the bike. The hubless wheels also help to reduce some weight.

The super street fighter bike is available in three color variants. Those colors are Frost Bite White, Racing Red and Galactic Black. The 1190SX is priced at 16,995 USD (10.23 Lakh) on American ground and the Indian ground is also expecting this bike to get launched pretty soon. Fingers Crossed!!
