Marazzo MPV launched in India by the Mahindra Group. It ranges from Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 13.90 lakh. The range and size of Marazoo MPV lies in the mid of that of Maruti Ertiga and the Toyota Innova, thus filling the gap and covering that section of customers who want sober but not so expensive car.
Currently Marazzo is available with a warranty of 3 years/ 1 lakh km. It is believed to be further extended and could cover a warranty upto 5 year/ 1.5 km. The extended warranty would be known as Mahindra Marazzo Shield.

If a buyer opt the warranty for the 4th and 5th year together within the 60 days of purchase of the new vehicle, it looks profitable.
Below are some of the cases where opting this offer does not look profitable :
(1) As a customer if you don’t want a car for more than 3 years, but still if you have gone for the extended warranty, even then it will be profitable as, you could ask for a better value for the product while selling the car because the warranty remains unaffected even after the owner changes.
(2) If the buyer is intended to cover more than 1.5 lakh Km within the duration of the standard warranty.
(3) If in future you are not going to get your vehicle serviced at Mahindra service centres.

The other case is like if the customer purchases the extended guarantee at a later date but within its standard warranty period, there are some conditions which need to be understood:
(1) For Mahindra Marazzo Shield, original warranty must have been taken for the vehicle. It should not have covered more than three years or distance of 100,000km at the time of registration.
(2) The maintenance of the vehicle must have been done based on the maintenance schedule by an authorized Mahindra dealer.
(3) The Mahindra Marazzo should not have met any accident at the time of registration.
