A few days ago, Mercedes-Benz posted a silhouette image of its 6 meters long ultra-luxury car concept on its official webpage. Without giving any hint, just tagged it “Hot & Cool - Almost 6 meters of ultimate luxury”. But it’s no more a secret, the German-based luxury auto giant has officially unveiled the entire details and the inside-out images of the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6, a sensational luxury-class coupe which made its first public appearance on August 21 at Pebble Beach in California.

It happened just two months ago, when Rolls Royce had stunned the world with its ‘The Vision Next 100’ concept car while celebrating owner BMW’s centenary, and now this marvellous concept from Mercedes-Maybach will surely make you drop your jaws.
The two-door concept features the same body ideology as most of the brand’s concepts have, the long split hood and the sloping roofline. But this time, the Maybach coupe looks much sleeker and more stylish than ever before. Having the 2+2 seating arrangement, the concept measures about 6m (specifically 5.7 meters) in length, as the name of the car suggests. The breath-taking front fascia of the concept houses the elongated hood, the small three-pointed star badge, the wide chrome grille with vertical slats and slim LED headlamps. The eye-catching large 24-inch wheels are inspired by the IAA concept which was showcased in September last year.
From inside, this 2-door luxury coupe concept looks like a future spaceship with the steering wheel control. The concept features a heads-up display which unfurls on the entire width of the windshield and provides all the necessary information such as navigation, driving related-info etc. It seems that the dashboard is touch sensitive all over the surface.
Beneath the front end, it carries four magnet synchronous electric motors and each motor is responsible for driving every single wheel. With the entire electric setup, the maximum power comes out is around 750 bhp. This concepts power output gives an idea about its performance that it can rockets the car from 0 to 100 kmph in less than four seconds and up to the electronically limited top speed of 250 kmph.
More notable, this Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 is blessed with the quick charge function. The manufacturer claims that just a five minutes of charging doze can add upto 100 kilometers of travelling range, thanks to its 350 kwh charging system. Moreover, the concept can also be fueled via regular power outlets or wirelessly.
Overall, the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 shows the extraordinary work of the Daimler AG, a Mercedes-owned ultra-luxury car brand. And the world is looking forward to seeing such concepts in the production ready units in the near future.
