The Domestic automaker, TVS Motor company was in the limelight last year, due to its alliance with the famed German name in two-wheeler manufacturing, BMW Motorrad and the news of most awaited TVS Apache RTR 200 also forced to turn media at its own. Recently, TVS Motor officially announced that the Apache 200 will be launched on 20th January this year. While the TVS- BMW G310R, the joint venture production naked street is expected to launch at the Delhi Auto Expo 2016.
The emerging report from the sources came out with a surprise that the partners are working on another project that possibly, be a fully faired motorcycle, which will be the faired version of G310R and codenamed U69. The U69 will be the product of the home based manufacturer, while the responsibility on the engineering end probably be done by the BMW Motorrad.

As per the source, the motorcycle will be manufactured at the TVS Motor’s main production facility in Housur, near Bangalore and the R&D part of the sports bike will be handled by BMW.
In technical aspects, the motorcycle U69 is expected to place the similar engine of stylish roadster G310R. The fully faired U69 will run on a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, four valves and DOHC engine. The engine displacement of 313cc will generate the power of 33.5 bhp at 9,500 rpm and the torque of 28 Nm at 7,500 rpm. the motor will be coupled with a six-speed gearbox to transfer the power to the rear wheel. The faired U69 is expecting to get subtle higher figures in power and torque than its sibling G310R.
