The Korean automobile giant who has recently received the award of being the largest exporters of the cars to India is planning to launch one more premium vehicle this year during the most anticipated season of all year, that is the festive season during early in the last quarter of the year. The company is already on a high note with the success of its hatchback Grand i10 and the Xcent (Sedan). Both of these cars sold like hot cakes in the urban Indian car market.
The company is now looking for launching yet another hatchback and it'll none other than its internationally acclaimed and applauded Hyundai i30. The i30 is supposed to recover the failure of i20 which was not as famous as the i10 and later launched Grand i10. The Hyundai i30 is already a famous hatchback car in the international market and the company is looking to get some bonus from the Indian market now. The i30 is available in the five-door, three-door and Estate version for the global audience.
However, the Indian market is supposed to get only the five-door version of this Hyundai i30, to support the compatibility of the car according to the surroundings. Now, as the car is available in the 4 engine variants, that is, 1.6 Litre MPI. 1.6 Litre GDI, 1.8 Litre MPI and 1.6 Litre VGT with both the transmission system, viz, automatic and manual (6-speed). It's very much possible that the Hyundai will launch both the transmission system variants in India, but still nothing has been confirmed by the officials.
