Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has unveiled two special edition variants of its Punto Evo and Linea 125S in the country via its official website. Christened as Punto Evo Karbon and Linea 125 S Royale, the limited edition versions come up with a range of cosmetic updates to both inside and out. If media reports are to be believed, both the units will be available for the sale any soon along with slightly higher price tag over the standard models.
Pursuing the details, Both the Karbon and Royale house a pearl white paint job along with a gloss black roof. Moreover, both the cars have also come attached with the special edition badges - Karbon and Royale situated under the C-pillars. Besides, the Punto Evo sports a set of racing decals running along the shoulder line of the model and meets the sticker at C-pillar, while Linea gets additional gunmetal finished 15-inch alloy wheels.
Move inside the cabin and you will be welcomed by a more premium and quite impressive interior. Taking details on the ground, the Fiat Punto Evo Karbon’s interior has got an all-black theme leather upholstery with contrast white stitching and white trim on the door panels. The Linea 125 S Royale, on the other hand, flaunts tan coloured leather upholstery with diamond stitching in order to give a more decent look to the sedan.
On the mechanical front, both the vehicles will continue to be powered by the same powertrain as of the ongoing models. In details, the limited edition Punto Karbon hatch uses the 1.3-litre MultiJet diesel guise producing 90 Bhp of power and mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. On the other side, the sedan will be powered by the 1.4-litre T-Jet petrol engine making out 123 bhp of power and will come up with same transmission option.
Well, prices have not been revealed yet officially by the company, but, both the special edition variants are expected to cost around INR 25,000 - 35,000 over the standard model. As of now, the Punto Evo Dynamic is available on sale at the price of INR 7.47 Lakhs, while the Linea 125 S kicks out from INR 10.76 Lakhs (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
