Fiat Made the Specifications of Fiat Egea Public

A report emerges from Ototeknikveri tells that the specification of Fiat Egea has been revealed before its launch in the market. The official date for launching this model has not confirmed yet, but it is expected that this sedan will be launched nearby November month.

The automaker will launch this model in two petrol and two diesel variants. The diesel variant of Egea gets the energy from a 1.6-liter motor that makes 120 bhp of power, mated with a 6-speed manual while the other diesel engine churns out the power of 95 bhp via 1.3-liter Multijet, and will be clubbed with a 5-speed gear box. Coming to the petrol lineups, the first one gets the power from a 1.4-liter FIRE four-cylinder unit clubbed with a 5-speed manual transmission, delivers 95 bhp, and the other one will be packed by a 1.6-liter Etorq that produces 110 bhp engine, paired with a 6-speed automatic. Its fuel efficiency is quite impressive i.e. 25km/l and it will have the boot space of 510 liters. Dimension wise, as per the production, it measures 4,500 mm in length, 1780mm in width, 1480mm in height and a wheelbase of 2640mm.

After immense observation, the engineers have designed its elements for the Turkey's local markets to attract more people in sedan segment. Coming to its cosmetic features, it gets a broad grille flaunting chrome inserts, sweptback headlights, well carved hood, body colored wing mirrors, large taillights and a distinctive roofline. Inside the cabin, it has a number of features that include 5-inch infotainment system, Bluetooth connectivity and automatic climate control.

The company officials notify that the manufacturing process of Egea has started at the company’s Tofas plant located in Bursa, Turkey. Already, this car was revealed at the Istanbul Motor Show. If we compare this vehicle with the sedans available in India, then it will get a tough competition from Honda City, Volkswagen Vento, Hyundai Verna and Skoda Rapid.
