A few days back, Ford had decreased the price of its much popular SUV EcoSport for both of its petrol and diesel variants. Now, some reports have been suggesting for new updates that might launch sometime early 2017 in India, while globally it may come out soon this year. Some spied images of the possible model captured in South America has cleared the air.
Courtesy to images, which show some changes at the front fascia that is conceptualized from the Ford Edge Crossover. It comprises large fog lamps, a hexagonal grille with three chromed slats, new design alloy wheels and headlamps. The rear profile has also been modified with restyled tail lamps along with new graphics and LED power.

The automaker has also updated the interior with a redesigned centre console, a new steering wheel as well as the Ford SYNC infotainment system comes with a new color display. Rest of the features could remain same or might be upgraded also.
Under the hood, the forthcoming EcoSport is expected to be continued with both petrol and diesel powertrain options. The specification of the petrol includes a 1.0-litre EcoBoost unit and a 1.5-litre Ti-VCT trim. On the other side, diesel will be powered by a 1.5-litre TDCi motor.

Well, it has not been too long when the vehicle was first sold in India, and in a very short period of time, it has succeeded to capture a lot of markets. When the updated model came, it will definitely enhance the sales graph. Those who are not aware, Ford EcoSport will roll out from the company manufacturing plant in Craiova, Romania to all the other market.
