Ford India expects a launch of a new compact utility vehicle in the country named Ford Freestyle on April 26, 2018. The all-new compact utility vehicle (CUV) is equipped with benchmark performance, outstanding fuel efficiency, innovative technologies, and robust design for the Indian consumer.
The brand-new cross hatchback from Ford is the preferred choice of consumers in terms of better ground clearance and commanding seating position to adjust in the crowded urban environment. The new SUV will be available in diesel and petrol engine options. You can choose from four different variants which are Trend, Titanium, Titanium+ and Ambient.
Freestyle’s SUV appearance reveals the front bumper with sculpted fascia sections, new bumpers, and stylish body cladding. It consists high ground clearance of 190mm along with 15-inch wheels. Further, the new vehicle obtains silver skid plates and a new silver roof rails which showcase the sporty look of the car.

The compact SUV is powered by a three-cylinder 1.2L Ti VCT Dragon series naturally-aspirated petrol engine which is strong, light, small, and renders exceptional fuel efficiency. The engine is able to churn out a maximum power of 94 hp and a peak torque of 120 Nm to render Ford’s fun-to-drive DNA. Consumers will also have 1.5L TDCi diesel engine producing a peak power of 99 hp of power and a peak torque of 215 Nm.
Inside the cabin, it takes a charcoal black interior along with dual tone seats in black and Sienna. The distance to empty feature makes the driver know when to refill.
Freestyle will render an overall sportier performance and takes the interesting features of high ground clearance, a uniquely tuned suspension in relation to enhanced track-width, TCS, uniquely tuned EPAS, and ABS with EBD. The Ford Freestyle moves forward with safety, offers six airbags, HLA (Hill launch assist), and anti-rollover prevention system. The emergency assistance feature helps at the time of the accident by blocking the fuel supply and sends the location of the car to the contacts.
