Fully Undisguised TVS Apache RTR 310 (Akula 310) Spotted in India

The eagerly awaited faired motorcycle from TVS giant manufacturer, the Apache RTR 310 aka Akula 310, which is likely to hit the Indian biking sector sometimes in July 2017, has recently been spotted in India.

Well, the RTR 310 has already been snapped several times on various testing events, but it is the first time when solely full fairing motorcycle from TVS stable has been captured without camouflage. The leaked online images of the upcoming flagship beast reveal its class leading design and features, which are meant for a dynamic riding performance. Spied in two vibrating colours of Gloss Blue and Matte Black, the race spec RTR 310 shares seating from its lately launched naked street brother Apache 200, and other minor components have been placed as it is of showcased concept.

Moreover, the Akula 310 is equipped with race inspired faired design, taller windscreen, clip-on handlebar and all new vertically placed instrument console. For a reminisce, the furnished instrument cluster on the bike is similar to the one seen on the concept model.

Under the skin, TVS Apache RTR 310 is powered by a 313cc, liquid cooled, fuel injected engine that is capable of producing 33.6 BHP at 9500 rpm and 28 Nm at 7500 rpm. Mated to a six-speed gearbox transmission, the engine is claimed to generate a top speed of 143kmph on BMW G310R. Thanks to Apache RTR 310’s aerodynamic design language, it will definitely manage to touch slight higher scale on speedometer than G310R.

In India, it is likely to roll out in the price range of INR 1.60lakh-1.75lakh, to compete with the other models in the segment such as Bajaj Dominar 400, Mahindra Mojo 300 and Honda CBR250R.
