Under the hood, Corvette is powered by a 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine that churns out a maximum power of 455 hp and a peak torque of 624 Nm. The power mill comes mated to either 7-speed manual transmission with Active Rev Match or 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle-shift. Moreover, the automaker claims that the Corvette Stingray C7 is capable of hitting 0-60 mph in just four seconds. It also offers feasible driving modes, namely, Eco, Weather, Tour, Track, and Sport.
The latest generation is way much lighter than the outgoing generations. Ithe chassis is built using carbon fibre and composite fenders. Also the interior components and panels are made up of carbon-nano composite. The interior looks upmarket and elegant. The centre console gets a 8-inch digital infotainment system including MyLink and Performance Data Recorder.
As per several sources, this particular car model holds a huge fan following in the US. It has large number of admirers, as the Corvette racing team grabbed the top position in 2015.
