A new release from Harley-Davidson has disclosed that the company is planning to introduce a lower seated version of the existing Electra Glide Ultra Classic. The seat height of the 2015 Electra Glide Ultra Classis motorcycle will be designed in such a manner, which suits the shorter-legged people. The short-heighted fans of Harley-Davidson motorcycles were not able to ride their dream motorcycle, but from next year onwards they would make out a trip over their dreamed Harley-Davidson.
The lower-seated version will get designed, which is appropriately suitable for those riders who are as short as 5'5". The model will get updated for the 2015 launch. Apart from this, the company had also revealed that it will be going to update a particular range of other models as well, which includes Road Glide, Street Glide, CVO Series of motorcycles and some more.
There will be some specific changes which have been made by the company in order to lower the seat height. The width of the primary drive will get reduced by which it will be easier for the shorter rider to reach the ground. The grips of the motorcycle will also get reduced from the diameter to make the rider reachable to the levers. Currently, the Electra Glide Ultra Classic is priced at £21,395 and the existing owners of the motorcycle can also buy these new parts in a separate manner and can customize their motorcycle up to an extent.
The Senior Vice-President of Harley-Davidson Motorcycles Operations, Michelle Kumbier, said, "With this new model we are addressing the important issue of fit, perhaps the ultimate expression of personalization. This Low model will allow many riders to feel more comfortable and more confident when they settle into the seat." The updated models of the Road Glide Special is priced at £19,495, the Street Glide Special will costs from £19,295 and Street/Road Glide Ultra, Limited and Softail Deluxe will be carrying a price tag of £23,195.
