The Hero Motocorp Dawn range will soon reckon in higher displacement models right beside the 100cc and 125cc variants, which are already on sale in global markets. Surprisingly, an exclusive footage has been uploaded on YouTube by Deuce Production showing the 150cc model of the CD Dawn alongside the aforementioned ones. Entitled as “Hero Motocorp- ’Dawn Series’ Extended Client Cut”, the short clipping showcases all three bikes highlighting the improved bits.
Checkout the details of the ongoing HF Dawn Model
Starting the segment with the CD Hero Dawn 100, the video suggests that the motorcycle packs an improved mill with an elongated seat and a broad rear carrier. Powering the Dawn 100 is a 97.2cc air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder OHC engine that delivers 8BHP of power at 8000 RPM and 8.05NM of torque at 5000 RPM. The numbers, however, more or less remain same with the forthcoming variant. Though, we can expect a couple of mechanical changes into the bike with a better fuel efficiency.
Heading towards the CD Hero Dawn 125, the ongoing model in the Tanzanian market has been slightly modified in terms of design. From the video, we have perceived a ring-shaped illuminator headlight on the new generation bike discarding the current trapezoidal appearance. Engine-wise, it takes a 124.7cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder OHC motor that is strong enough to produce 9BHP of power at 7000 RPM and 10.35NM of torque at 4000 RPM.
The new 150cc model will sign up for an ATFT engine that runs the Hero Achiever, the 149.2cc air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder OHC engine generating 13.4BHP of power at 8000RPM and 12.80NM of torque at 5000 RPM. On the cosmetic front, a long seat, wide rear carrier, new step pillion with additional footrest, a new modish speedometer, black alloy wheels are some of its design upgradations.

To keep the prices low, all the three models quit disc brakes. As the description for the video says “Kenya Market”, there is no surety whether the higher displacement units would make a move to India or not. Besides, Hero Motocorp did not even utter a single word about the official launch of the Dawn series bikes in the country so far. The leaked footage is here as follows. Do have a look.
