The most affordable café racer is expensive than its 100cc siblings, still it defines itself in attitude and retro style. The completely revamped Splendor offers different styling and feel over the ride. Though, it is still running the same decades old engine with timely updated stuff. Hero Motocorp has played its ultra reliable engine for better power and torque. The on road price of the bike in New Delhi is Rs. 53,900, while other variants are also close to the same but on the cheaper side. However, the price section of company’s official website is not under operation.
The café racer Splendor Pro Classic is bonded with 97.2cc engine which develops 8.36PS of power and 8.04Nm of torque at 7500RPM and 5000RPM. This is slightly higher than the regular variants of Splendor. The company must have tried to get the bike in the performance mode with these upgraded norms. Still, the bike can’t be counted in performer segment because of its highly economic and cost effective character. It is dressed in a sober and simple outfit with availability in Black and Red colors. The rear garnish is executed with a small round shaped tail light and café cowl while the front is coupled with a round headlight with newly designed handlebar.
The Splendor Pro classic is the cheapest café racer inspired motorbike and it is the most economic as well. People would buy this machine for its looks and an indifferent attitude the style quotient would definitely help Hero Motocorp to raise productivity and attain customer attraction. It would be a favorable task for Hero Motocorp or any other desi company to announce a more powerful (a 150cc) bike, styled in retro design and look as the people in India are fond of doing things with their credentials to look apart in the concourse.
