The new Hero Xtreme 200R which is set to launch soon. Its official pricing for the seven northeastern states, as well as for West Bengal has now been revealed. The official Hero MotoCorp’s website for the northeastern states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, as well as West Bangalore, is asking the amount of INR 88,000 for the motorcycle. On the other hand, the Suzuki Gixxer and the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V which attract price chit of INR 82,400 and INR 84,500 (ex-showroom Guwahati) respectively will see the competition in lower displacement segment.
The aggressively priced the Xtreme 200R is powered by a single-cylinder, carburetted, air-cooled, two-valve, 200 cc engine. It can develop the propelling power of 18.1 bhp at 8,000 rpm and transmits 17.1 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. In addition to this, the Xtreme 200R will be equipped with the advanced rider’s safety feature of single-channel ABS. You will get the aids of five colours choice to opt your favourite including Heavy Grey with Orange, Black with Sports Red, Sports Red, Panther Black with Force Silver, and Techno Blue.
As of now, it is not clear when will the official pricing for PAN India will be announced and when the motorcycle will hit the dealership for sale. But with this price announcement for few states clearly indicates the sooner arrival of the Xtreme 200R. It is a flagship product and the company is expected a lot. It will really be interesting to see its initial customer response post-launch in the 200cc segment.
