Hero Unveils Duet 125 and Maestro Edge 125 With New Features

Hero MotoCorp has rolled out two of its new scooter offerings such as the new Maestro Edge 125 and the Duet 125 at India’s biggest motor show, 2018 Delhi Auto Expo. the 110cc trims of the models in question are already available in the brand’s lineup. And these unveiled trims are the upgraded iterations at features, colours and engine end. Both these models are manufactured at the Hero MotoCorp Centre of Innovation and Technology (CIT) in Jaipur.

In terms of features, the Scooters are embellished with analogue instrument console along with a digital display for conveying ride related important information to the rider. Also, the brand’s patented i3S technology is also added for the first time in scooter by the automaker. The range of other features that are being provided by the company is a side stand indicator, service reminder, pass switch and an external fuel filling system.

In terms of power, both the models are fitted with the same 125cc Single Energy Cylinder Boost engine that offers the maximum power of 8.7bhp at 6,750rpm and 10.2Nm of torque at 5,000rpm.

For braking, the scooters are equipped with front disc brake along with the integrated braking system. In terms of rivalry, the Hero Duet 125 will fight with the likes of the Honda Activa 125 and Suzuki Access 125. Whereas, the Maestro Edge 125 will go in competition with the likes of Honda Grazia and TVS NTorq 125.
