The new Xtreme 200S is the fully-faired version of the company's Xtreme 200R with a refreshingly new design. Hero MotoCorp recently introduced a floundered iteration of the Xtreme 200R which comes with the same 200 cc engine. If we are looking forward to buying this bike here's all you need to know about the newest and the essentially full faired motorcycle from Hero MotoCorp.

What makes it so irresistible? (Pros)

It's price :

The price tag of Rs 98,500 (ex-showroom Delhi) makes Hero MotoCorp- the second-most economical bike of the country after the Suzuki Gixxer SF. At this price, it defeats the Xtreme 200S bike with a larger engine that delivers more power output and torque, by just paying Rs 424 more. Newfangled design along with LED headlight & LED tail light defines it as a sporty bike which assures 100% comfort.

Instrument cluster hooked with realistic specifications:

Like XPulse 200, The Hero Xtreme 200S features a fully digital instrument cluster which comes with Bluetooth connectivity to facilitate the use of features like call alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. It also showcases the tachometer, gear position, speedometer, dual trip meters with average speeds, time and date.

Vast Dealership Reach:

The vast dealer network is the biggest advantages of buying a Hero product which assures easy purchase and service across the country.

Factors which can still prevent you from buying this bike. (Cons)

Underpowered engine:

If you’re searching a good 200cc performance-oriented bike, then this bike is not for you. With the output of 18.4PS and 17.1Nm, the engine performs a bit better than 160cc engines but while attempting the speed of 100kmph it becomes over-burdened.

Could’ve come with FI:

To distinguish itself from the Hero Xtreme 200R bike and to enhance the sporty, the Xtreme 200S could’ve featured fuel injection for ceaseless and effortless throttle response and better performance.

Only single-channel ABS:

The Xtreme 200S has been equipped with only a single-channel ABS which may lead to the locking up of rear under hard braking, especially when we consider that it comes with a 220mm disc.

Still, we have reasons, why should you buy it:

If you are looking for a bike which looks stylish and sporty and which is comfortable enough for daily routines under a lakh rupees, the Xtreme 200S is the perfect go-to.
