The 2018 Honda Gold Wing which has launched in India at the starting price of INR 26.85 lakhs. The deliveries for the same has been commenced by the company. For the first time, the new Honda Gold Wing debuted at the Tokyo Motor Show. The propelling power for the bike comes from a flat six, four valve per cylinder,1,833 engine. It churns out the maximum power of 125bhp at 5,500rpm along with peak torque of 170Nm at 4,500rpm.
Based on a lightweight, rigid twin-spar aluminium frame, the 2018 new Gold Wing in association with a single-sided Pro-Arm swingarm offers excellent performance and handling. For the rider’s comfort, the company offers a range of features including adjustable heated seats, five-position heated grips, and foot-warming system for chilly weather, etc.
The set of panniers offers the luggage carrying capacity of 150 litres whereas 6-speaker 80W SRS surround-sound system offers pleasant riding experience. The rider can connect through an iPod, iPhone, or USB stick. The advanced safety features such as Combined Braking System (CBS) and Antilock Braking System (ABS) makes braking easier in any conditions. In addition to this, the variant Gold Wing- Airbag comes equipped with the facility of a fully-integrated airbag. When launched in 2006, it was the first motorcycle with such feature. For parking ease, the company offers a slow-speed electric reverse system to park the vehicle without any hassle in tight corners.
